Department of Defense

The Navy has many opportunities for doctors, nurses, dentists and researchers. Navy medical professionals help care for ill or injured Sailors, and they also assist with humanitarian missions.

The Navy helps medical professionals pay for their studies through the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program, the Navy Health Services Collegiate Program and the Navy Financial Assistance Program. Those who are already practicing may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
