It Runs in the Family - Transcript

Maj. Windy Hendrick: I joined the active-duty Air Force and then continued my service in the Air Guard because providing the freedoms and the choices for my children was really one of the most important things for me to do. I came from a family of military folks from various different Services, and over many conflicts that we've had. I grew up knowing the sacrifices that they made, and that I'm sitting here today, as a female fighter pilot in 2010, because of the things that they have done before me. I just think that it's a critical thing for me to do that for my children.
