Speaker: My name's Ray Roby. I'm a sergeant with the Air National Guard. I am a medical lab technician. I am responsible for drawing blood, processing it, as well as collecting other samples. Right now I'm spinning down the blood that we've drawn today where we'll separate it down into its two components: the cells and then the plasma — or serum in this case. We send the serum off to one of our reference labs for testing, and we'll get the results back in a couple of days.
