Words from an Army National Guard Spouse - Transcript

Speaker: Rudy and I have been married for six years, and he's been in the Guard since before we met. At first, I was concerned about what military life would mean to our family. But it didn't take me long to realize that it's one of the best jobs my husband can have. At work, he loves what he does; he knows that he's making a difference in people's lives. The Guard has truly become an extended family to us. Being the spouse of a Soldier can be challenging, but I know that his service and our family support helps make a difference. And I'm proud to be there by his side every step of the way.

My name is Carey Simeon, and I'm the proud wife of a National Guard Soldier.
