Arts, Communications, Media and Design officers are the directors, conductors and public affairs officials who plan and direct all media associated with the Military. This includes everything from broadcast news programs to training videos, to public-facing press releases. These creative individuals are skilled at communicating ideas through words, images and music and use their abilities to communicate on behalf of the Services. This field potentially involves travel and performance at official events.
Possible Responsibilities
- Plan activities to improve public relations
- Assist with VIP tours of ships and bases
- Schedule and conduct interviews and news conferences
- Lead bands and choirs in performance
- Supervise training and rehearsal of musicians
- Direct actors and technical staff during filming
- Plan and organize audiovisual projects
