Throughout the country thousands of coalition soldiers distributed livestock blankets and other humanitarian aid and rations to the people of Afghanistan.
I a kind of had always had a passion from the time I was in high school to be a journalist, and when everything started happening following September 11th; the invasion into Afghanistan, and the war in Iraq I was just so completely consumed by the news coverage. I really wanted to understand it, I really wanted to go over there myself. Iit just really was sort of the catalyst for me to want to say maybe I should make a change, maybe I should pursue the career that I really want to have in journalism
The truck and helicopter behind me have been used to move ballots here
I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to go out there and work with people

Her day began leading a three vehicle convoy stocked with aid
Other: we are getting ready to go to the hospital. Hopefully the medicine and supplies that we bring are gonna help the doctors and nurses better treat them
In the military not only are you in front of the camera your also the camera man, your also the editor, your also the producer and director when your on the scene because usually your there by yourself
A day that will now also go down in history as the first inauguration
There's so much that the military does in other countries that people arent aware of that's really important that really helps shape the economies in other countries that really help shape peoples views of Americans in other countries. That's something my eyes have been opened to after my experiences in the military
